Those Necessary Mix-n-Match Rings
I designed these rings because I loved the concept of simple, varying sizes, almost ornamental, minimal rings that flattered anyone and everyone's hands.
I did not love buying the same rings multiple times over because they would go green, fade in colour, or just disintegrate all together. So I made these banded babies, (5mm, 10mm, and 16mm), so that other people in similar situations could just buy quality, take care of it properly and never have to re-buy.
They are chic, classic, and still somehow absolutely badass.
From Afghanistan with love.

Mahdi jaan is an Afghan who grew up in Tehran. He is a widower, and a single dad with a spunky, beautiful daughter named Mobina. Life as an Afghan, especially as a Hazara man, in Iran, is very difficult, and when life got unbearable for Mahdi due to systemic oppression, racism and xenophobia, he and Mobina fled via human smuggling to Berlin, where they live currently. The trip to Germany was done completely by foot, and still weighs on Mahdi’s heart- “I will never forget that time until my last days. There will always be problem’s in one’s life, might as well try and be happy through it all.”
