With all that has happened in Afghanistan since August 2021, I was inspired to create three designs symbolising three things Afghans have a lot of and need to maintain: hope, strength and resilience, and honour.

This design represents strength and resilience. No matter what, we will continue fighting for Afghanistan, until the death. “Watan ya kafan” was a saying popularised in the 1990s- our homeland or the grave, which I think fits the current mood: we fight for life.
